Spirit Week
In honor of last Friday’s Earth Day, the Student Council and NJHS have organized a Spirit Week for this week:

  • Monday– Water Conservancy Awareness- Wear Blue
  • Tuesday– Anti-Littering Awareness- “Don’t Litter on the Ground, Wear Brown”
  • Wednesday– “Wild about Wildlife Wednesday”- Wear animal print or animal picture clothing
  • Thursday– “Earth Day Recognition”- Wear Green
  • Friday– Floral Friday – Wear Floral Prints/Hawaiian Print

7th Grade NJHS Applications Due

Save Our Teachers 2016

Save Our Teachers
Dear O. Henry Families and Friends,

As most of you know, Austin ISD has still not received any significant financial relief from the Texas legislature in recent years. Therefore, we continue to operate from a $500/student deficit that we were first forced to contend with five years ago, which now totals nearly $2.5 million in losses.

What I love about this school is how our parents responded to this draconian decrease in revenue in 2011.…
