2015 Mustang Alumni Scholarship Awards

mustang-scholarshipsO. Henry PTA is proud to award two $500.00 scholarships to former O. Henry Middle School students now attending Austin High School. Graduating seniors who wish to apply must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum GPA at Austin High School of 3.0
  • Must have attended O. Henry Middle School for at least two years
  • Must have participated in extracurricular activities, shown leadership and good citizenship qualities
  • Must submit written essay

Those meeting these criteria are urged to complete the attached application and email it to acosta75@austin.rr.com or return it to the AHS Counselor no later than noon on Friday, May 15, 2015.

Library Rising Book Fair this week

A drainage block caused water from the recent rains to flood the library, but not a single book was lost. The entire library was dismantled, with a pop-up library in a conference room keeping services available to students.…
