On Wednesday, May 18 the National Junior Honor Society held their Spring Induction and Farewell Ceremony in Cafe O. Henry. Rev. Nael Chavez, founder of the Enlightened Warriors program for middle school youth, was the special guest speaker.

NJHS Officers led a candle-lighting ceremony followed by induction of new members by Counselor David Freeman and NJHS Sponsor Alison Orchard. Ms. Orchard then recognized current members and expressed gratitude to the officers, parents, PTA, and teachers who have done so much for the O. Henry Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society.
