If I choose to strike another student on school grounds, I may be immediately removed from school.

If I choose to verbally, physically, or sexually harass another student or students on school grounds, I may receive Saturday detention, ISS, suspension, or explusion.  Let’s bully-proof our school!

I am expected to maintain a 70 in every class.  If I fail any course in a six week period, I will lose the privilege to participate in any extracurricular activity during the following three week period.

If I am struggling academically, I will attend tutorials before, during, or after school.

If I choose to wear inappropriate clothing to school, I may be asked to change, attend ISS, or be sent home from school.  I may wear a hat to school but remove it upon entering the building.  If my hair is dyed an unnatural color, I will be asked to wash out the color.

I will walk on the right side of the hallway during passing periods and use an inside voice.  I will be on time to class, so I can get prepared for the warm-up and lesson.

If am having a problem with another student, my choices are the following:  (a) ignore the student, (b) kindly, but assertively, address the student at an appropriate time and place and (c) contact an adult.

I am expected to not chew gum anywhere in the school building – at any time!

I am expected to use an Agenda each day.  Cost: $6.00.

I will make good choices in the Cafe O. Henry and keep my area clean.

If I cause a disruption on the bus that results in a bus referral, the following consequences may occur: (a) warnings, (b) bus suspensions and/or (c) bus removal from the remainder of the semester or school year.

Any expression of gang affiliation will not be tolerated.

I will regularly attend school since it is critical to my success as a student – and it is the law!

Cell phones will be confiscated if they are seen or heard on campus during the school day.  An iPod, or any other electronic item, may be confiscated, as well.

I will not sell, consume, or possess any illegal drugs or alcohol on campus.

I will use a backpack to carry my binder, materials, and belongings to each class and keep it organized.

I am expected to fully participate in RODEO activities.

I will abide by all dance guidelines, including prompt pick-up at the end of the dance.

I may use a bicycle or skateboard to travel to and from school, but I will not ride it on campus.

I will do my best in the classroom, because I know that knowledge is power and leads to success.

Have a wonderful school year!
Do your best every single day.  Go Mustangs!
